1000 Years
For the exhibition ‘Lifeforms” with srtist Michael Wang
Giant Sequoias live for more than three thousand years, and are among the oldest and most massive living organisms on Earth. This 90-minute simulation compresses a millennium of their growth into a single documentation, making visible a lifespan that dwarfs human memory, culture, and climate. Produced at the intersection of ecological modeling and cinematic visualization, the work considers what it means to witness time at the scale of a species. Screened during Michael Wang's Lifeforms lecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design, April 2026.
